Single/Dual NMEA 2000 Converter Box NMEA2000 Adapters NMEA 2000 Cables Sockets Multifunction Converter Waterproof IP67 For Boat NMEA Buffer / Splitter NMEA Buffer, sometimes called Splitter or Expander or Amplifier, collects NMEA 0183 data from single (or dual) talker, and then send the data to multiple NMEA 0183 Listener. This NMEA Buffer can receive all of RS-232, RS-422 and TTL signals, and is galvanic isolated. The output of NMEA 0183 conform to RS-422 specifications. Therefore, this can be used for RS-422 Splitter as well as NMEA Splitter. Most NMEA Buffer/Splitter/Expander has two inputs. So, in case of data stop at one input, and then it switch another input data automatically or manually.
