NMEA 2000 Mini-C 7/8 to Micro-C M12 Cable Adapter. In NMEA 2000 (N2K) networks, there are two types of cables: trunk cable and drop cable. Each cable uses different wire gauges for the various signal lines. The Mini-Change 7/8 connector is used on the high-duty backbone cable, while the Micro-Change M12 connector is used on the low-duty backbone cable.
