RRUs = Radio Remote Units, are often used on different communication networks. These personnel help to move the fast data, voice and video services around so many people benefit. The RRUs, however, are often in remote locations that are difficult to reach. It is not easy to examine their operation and correct any errors towards simulating the function of classic computers worn by cybercriminals.
To address this challenge, we have developed unique RRU RRH Alarm Cables as are applicable for Small Cell and 3G/4G facilities. These cables are improved ways to keep surveillance of the performance of RRUs. These are used to trigger alerts and alarms from the RRUs to a master monitoring station. That way, network managers are alerted when something goes wrong and can fix it before the situation becomes critical – i.e., the dreaded downtime (we've all been there).
